Intercultural skills training for foreign specialists and junior staff

Would you like to make it easier for your foreign specialists and junior staff to integrate into your team? Then we recommend our free intercultural competence training.

This training supports your foreign colleagues in overcoming uncertainties and cultural challenges in their day-to-day work. As a result, obstacles can be removed and potential can be optimally developed.

In two interactive workshops, we address cultural similarities and differences. Through a mixture of theory and practical exercises, we create an understanding of the working culture in Germany. In addition, we analyze conflict situations and strengthen problem-solving skills to avoid future intercultural misunderstandings in the team.

Part 1: Culture and values

When? 04.12.2024, 14:00 to 17:30

Where? House of Economic Development, Vahrenwalder Str. 7, 30165 Hanover

This section of the training highlights the key cultural similarities and differences between Germany and other countries. Through a mixture of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises, a deep understanding of the German work culture is conveyed. This not only promotes adaptability, but also an appreciation of cultural diversity in the workplace.

Part 2: Communication and conflict

When? 06.12.2024, 14:00 to 17:30

Where? House of Economic Development, Vahrenwalder Str. 7, 30165 Hanover

The second module in the training series focuses intensively on the different communication styles and their impact on collaboration. We analyze typical conflict situations and develop effective solution strategies. These skills are essential to avoid future intercultural misunderstandings and promote harmonious team dynamics.

The training is aimed at foreign specialists and junior staff who are new to Germany. A good knowledge of German is a prerequisite for participation. The dates build on each other, but can also be attended individually.

We were able to win over the intercultural trainer Ms. Vanessa Geruschkat to lead the workshop.
