Family and career - both!
Coordination office for women and work
A warm welcome!
Balancing family and career is not always easy.
If you are looking to return to work after a family-related career break, want to change careers or want to balance your work-life balance - then you've come to the right place! We can advise you if you want to return to work or realign your career path.
We support all women from the Hanover region with free counseling sessions and a wide range of further training opportunities to help them return to work. All our consultations take place in a confidential setting.
The Koordinierungsstelle Frau und Beruf is a recognized advice centre for the professional and occupational advancement of women in the Hannover Region. We see ourselves as a link between the labor market, further education providers and women living in the Hannover Region and support women returning to work, employees on parental leave and women who want to reorient themselves professionally on their way (back) to work.
Feedback from our consultation
"At a time when society expects women to work as if they didn't have children and to look after their children as if they weren't working, the Ko-Stelle tackles where women* are stuck. On the one hand, it offers an appreciative and encouraging environment and, on the other, concrete tools to further their education and find support." Johanna Prien-Kaplan ( to the complete feedback )
Consultations are still possible online

Please let us know whether you would like to be advised in person at our premises at Vahrenwalder Str. 7 30165 Hanover or by online video call via Webex.
