In the wake of growing conurbations, intensively used infrastructures and the associated CO2, pollutant and noise emissions, smaller vehicles and means of transportation are increasingly becoming the focus of urban planners, consumers and providers. This gives rise to new co-modal and multi-modal mobility concepts that require both technological developments and tailored services.
