DigiScouts

Trainees identify digitization potential in companies and implement it in practical projects with e-learning support. Two vocational schools in the Hannover region are involved in the acquisition and implementation.

Why not use young people's interest in digitalization to make dual vocational training in companies more attractive and at the same time gain benefits for the company? This is the idea behind the project "Apprentices as digitalization scouts" in companies.

The project essentially pursues six objectives:

1. The Digiscouts project aims to promote digitalization in companies from a sustainability perspective.
2. In the companies, internal digitalization projects are initiated and implemented by trainees themselves.
3. Meanwhile, the participants try out virtual forms of collaboration.
4. The trainee project team builds up additional digital and social skills.
5. The company increases its attractiveness as a training company.
6. The two participating vocational schools have tested the Digiscouts project learning approach.
