Whistleblower system

The hannoverimpuls GmbH whistleblower system serves to uncover violations of legal regulations or compliance rules, e.g. cases of corruption or fraud. If you learn in your daily work that these principles are being violated, please report it to us. Our aim is to comply with laws and regulations. If errors occur, we want to uncover and rectify them.

Your contact options

hannoverimpuls complies with the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) and the EU-wide standard for the protection of whistleblowers in accordance with the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU-2019/1937). To this end, we have set up a whistleblower system with the option of reporting legal violations confidentially. Various reporting channels are available to you:

  • via our whistleblower portal: This enables a secure and confidential exchange between the whistleblower and our ombudsperson.

Our employees, as well as all other persons who have contact with hannoverimpuls, can use these confidential reporting channels to report legal violations.

We have commissioned a service provider, Althammer & Kill GmbH & Co. KG, to operate the reporting office and the ombudsman's office. Every report received in the reporting portal or via the hotline reaches Althammer & Kill GmbH & Co KG. Reports can be submitted there with your contact details or anonymously. All reports are received confidentially. Our service provider guarantees that the employees or managers of hannoverimpuls will not learn your name unless you have given your express prior consent. Details on data processing by Althammer & Kill GmbH & Co KG can be found there on the website,https://hannoverimpuls.ak-compliance.de/Home/PrivacyPolicy. Althammer & Kill GmbH & Co KG will send you a confirmation of receipt within 7 days and will inform you within 3 months at the latest of the results of the investigation into your report.

Please note that our whistleblower system can only be used to report legal violations. For general information, complaints or suggestions, please contact usat überinfo@hannoverimpuls.de.

External reporting offices

According to the Whistleblower Protection Act, you also have the option of contacting external reporting offices. Please bear in mind that your concern can be dealt with more quickly and directly if you report it internally. You can find more information on the options for external reporting at the Federal Office of Justice under BfJ - Whistleblower Office (bundesjustizamt.de). Other external reporting offices include the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority ("BaFin") and the Federal Cartel Office.
