The aim of the follow-up project to "Back2Job" is still to activate women with a university degree in technical professions who are unemployed or in the "hidden reserve" to return to work after a family phase. Special attention is paid to the participation of migrant women.

Thanks to the success of the pilot project and the close cooperation between the players in the Hanover Skilled Workers Alliance, Back2Job has been made permanent as part of a bundled measure by the Hanover Employment Agency and the Hanover Region Jobcenter.

As part of the "Neustart MINT" project module, it is now possible to join the "Campus Family and Career" umbrella project every two months. The special feature of the approach is that individually supervised interdisciplinary skills are strengthened, specialist knowledge is refreshed at the university and practical experience can be gained in companies (dual qualification). The Hannover Region covers the costs incurred for advice and support during the course.

The project sponsor is the Bildungswerk der Niedersächsischen Wirtschaft gGmbH.

  • Start 15.10.2023
  • End 13.07.2025

Predominantly women with a migration background who obtained their academic degrees in their home country.
