Skilled labor monitoring transformation
Together with the state capital of Munich, the Hannover Region will further develop the regional data analysis of the Job Monitor into a "Skilled Labor Monitoring Transformation" over a period of three years. The partners are pursuing the following goals:
- Identification of current regional demand for skilled workers by occupation and sector in a supra-regional comparison
- Identification of current skills requirements of regional companies by occupation and sector in a supra-regional comparison
- Trend analysis of key changes in job profiles over the last two to three years
- Analysis and comparison of sought-after qualifications and regional training priorities
- Derivation of recommendations for action and initiation of measures and projects for companies and regional labor market stakeholders (Skilled Workers Alliance Hannover) as well as educational stakeholders, e.g.
- Initiation of educational innovations for the transformation (initial and further training)
- Initiation of model projects for the regional labor market (partial qualifications for the unemployed and employed, transition paths for employees at risk of unemployment in further training networks, etc.)
Based on the results of the Job Monitor, two to three new education and labor market approaches are to be developed each year and implemented by the partners of the Skilled Workers Alliance and education providers. Over the course of the project, a regional user community will be established and the introduction of expert access for in-depth data analysis will be tested. Ideally, the Hannover Region will develop into a model real-world laboratory for labor market innovations nationwide.
