Strengthening the regional fashion industry in connection with the integration of refugee women into the labor market

The fashion industry is an important economic factor in the Hannover Region. However, there is a lack of structural framework conditions that ensure that skilled workers can be retained at the location, that the economic viability of the industry continues to develop and that the location also presents itself to the outside world in terms of communication.

The fashion industry also has enormous potential to offer participation and employment opportunities for people with migration and refugee experiences.

The "Integrative Fashion Location Hannover" project addresses precisely this interface by combining the strengthening of the regional fashion industry with the integration of refugee women into the labor market through the cooperation of kre|H|tiv Netzwerk Hannover e. V. and UNTER EINEM DACH.
