Quantum technologies

Quantum technologies are one of the most promising achievements of modern physics and will be increasingly used in an industrial context in the coming years.

First and foremost is the topic of quantum computing, in which Lower Saxony has gained a key position throughout Germany with the establishment of QuantumValley Lower Saxony (QVLS).

In addition to QCs, measurement processes using quantum sensors and quantum cryptography are also topics that are already being worked on at LUH, among others, but have yet to find their way into application.

In the short term, hannoverimpuls will focus on raising awareness of the technology and establishing the quantum computer value chain.
