Reducing CO2 emissions in the transport sector plays a key role in Germany's transformation towards climate neutrality. In 2023, around 22% of German CO2 emissions were attributable to transportation. In order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in the transport sector, companies must convert their vehicle fleets to zero-emission or low-emission vehicles.

The establishment of vehicles with alternative drive types (such as electric drive, hydrogen drive or synthetic fuels) represents a challenge for companies. Within the working group, we will tackle this challenge and look in detail at topics such as the choice of drive type, sector coupling, usage strategies and safety.

On this basis, individual solutions are developed for the transition to low-emission and sustainable mobility in the participating companies.

The working group takes place under the umbrella of the transformation networkneu/wagenand is aimed exclusively at companies.
