With the art formHealing Arts, the four founders of resonanzraumfocus on innovativeinterior design. Special patterns, colors and room layouts can improve the state of health of people, especially patients. The primary motivation for founding the company was to change the monotony of medical and care facilities by creating a relaxing environment. In addition, resonanzraum wants to use the business idea to create points of contact with art and break down cultural barriers. Especially at the beginning, the team of founders from Hanover wassupportedby the SocialInnovation Center of the Hannover Region Employment Promotion Agency.

"The Social Innovation Center's start-up program allowed us to gather valuable feedback on the development of our brand, the direction of our marketing and customer acquisition. The exchange of experiences with the other participating teams and the answers to many classic start-up questions such as financing and funding helped us a lot."

The sterile and white environment in the health and care sector is associated with hygiene and cleanliness. However, there are also negative effects on people's health. The lack of stimulation from the white walls promotes monotony in everyday life for staff and makes it more difficult for patients to recover. For this reason, resonanzraum has set itself the task of designing walls and ceilings with stimulatingshapes and calming colors. The changeof atmosphere improves the image of the respective facility. It can also reduce staff stress and improve the recovery process through distraction and stimulation.

resonanzraum's main target group is the healthcare sector, including clinics, care facilities and doctors' surgeries. The design is not only important for the managers or directors, but also for their employees and customers. According to the founders of the Hanover-based start-up, the design has a positive effect on the people who work, live and recover there. However, it is not only in the healthcare sector, but also in many other industries that stress prevails, which wouldbenefitfrom a health-promotingwall design. For this reason, resonanzraum has expanded its own portfolio to initially also redesign kindergartens, schools and offices to promote health.

"The Social Innovation Center helped us to optimize our pitch and adapt it to the different target groups. The weekly motivation boosts and coaching sessions were very helpful. Thank you for believing in us!"
