Hanover RegionIT goes to school - innovation transfer phase II
Secondary school students are introduced to the IT industry by offering structured internships on an analog and digital level.
Secondary school students are introduced to the IT sector through structured internships on an analog and digital level. Through job-related specialist tasks, they get to know the respective apprenticeship occupation in IT within 2 - 4 weeks.
The focus is on addressing girls.
As a further contribution to an interesting and meaningful IT career orientation, an ITmS career orientation module is being developed for IT lessons. This will be carried out by the participating companies in cooperation with the teacher during two lessons with pupils.
The project sponsor is the non-profit IT macht Schule GmbH.
Target groups
- Secondary level II pupils from general education schools in the Hannover region
- Small and medium-sized IT companies and companies with IT departments
- Computer science teachers
