From the Tunisian sun to Langenhagen
The company got to know him in an online interview, which was conducted in German. Mr. Jlidi (30) has completed training as a specialist technician and has 8 years of professional experience as well as a good command of German. His employment is made possible by the new Skilled Immigration Act - and a new project from the Hannover Region:
With the "Welcome to Hannover Region" project, the Hannover Region Economic and Employment Promotion Agency supports small and medium-sized companies in recruiting skilled workers from abroad. This includes foreign acquisition, technical language and intercultural preparation, recognition of professional qualifications, organization of recruitment interviews or entry to Hannover. As soon as the specialist is on site, they can expect welcome events, assistance with visits to the authorities and the organization of a further language course. The participating companies have the opportunity to take part in diversity and onboarding training.
It is a great benefit for the companies to be able to secure sought-after specialists in this way.
Jannes Lehmann, personnel manager at Kältech:
"We are happy to participate in the Welcome to Hannover Region project because we attract foreign specialists with professional experience and appreciate the direct contact with a competent, local contact person from the Hannover Region.
Based on the omnipresent and cross-industry shortage of skilled workers, we see the need to give foreign skilled workers a future in the Hannover Region and thus take advantage of the opportunities offered by the new Skilled Immigration Act.
We see an open attitude towards international specialists as the foundation of a future- and growth-oriented HR policy. With this project, we as a company want to create prospects in Germany for experienced and motivated specialists and at the same time set an example for many medium-sized companies!"
Other skilled workers, especially electronics technicians and plant mechanics, are waiting to be placed. Get in touch with us!
