DEMO DAY BATCH #5
Emotional and organizational support for relatives and caregivers of terminally ill people (Dr. Sina Joshi and Lisa Giesecke)
A platform for inclusive products and projects for people with and without disabilities (Anna Chevalier)
A platform where young people can find answers to all their questions about love and sex (Jana Pyrek, Antonia Böttinger and Sarah Holzenkamp)
A sustainable and barrier-free vacation home development with a view of the lake (Tim Göbel and Jörg Weiler),
At the beginning of December 2020, these four teams set out to develop and implement their socially innovative business ideas as part of the Social Innovation Center's (SIC) start-up program.
April 15 was the day. The conclusion of the 4-month start-up program took place in the form of a digital demo day with over 60 guests. We were delighted by the great interest in the four start-ups and the active participation.
Anyone who missed the chance to attend the Demo Day and has suggestions or questions for the teams and their topics is welcome to contact us afterwardsat treten:socialinnovtaion@region-hannover.de
The fifth round of the social entrepreneurship program ends with the presentation of the business models. The project has been so successful that there will be another round - this time completely digital. Prospective founders or project teams from the social economy can still apply with their concept for one of the four team places at the Social Innovation Center until May 25, 2021.
You can find all the information you need on ourapplication page.
The project sponsor of the ESF-funded model project is the Hannover Region's Economic and Employment Promotion Agency. "The Social Innovation Center has already gained a nationwide reputation as a model project and serves as a role model for other local authorities for the promotion of social entrepreneurship," emphasizes Ulf-Birger Franz, Head of Economic Affairs.
