Social and ecological issues are becoming increasingly important in social and political debates. This is not without consequences for the economy. Not only is political pressure increasing, but expectations and the proportion of critical consumers are also changing. As a result, an increasing corporate commitment to greater sustainability has become apparent in recent years.

What challenges does the transformation process entail? Can greater sustainability even create a competitive advantage? How should policy makers steer? How can sustainability be measured in companies and how should it be reflected in accounting? What role do donors play in this transformation process?

These and other questions will be the focus of the livestream event by Sparkasse Hannover and hannoverimpuls onOctober7,2021.

The aim of the event is to work out the current and future challenges for companies in the area of tension between social, ecological and economic responsibility. Both the resulting advantages and obstacles will be identified and solutions for the transformation process will be discussed.
