"I came across the project when I was searching online for alternatives to my studies or looking for possible apprenticeships. I had no concrete ideas or expectations. Rather, I needed help, in particular food for thought, and took the initiative to find out about the options and procedures I could take if I dropped out of university.
Food for thought and motivation
Without the consultation, I wouldn't have realized what I really wanted to achieve. It opened my eyes to what I really want to work towards! It also gave me the motivation to realize that failure doesn't have to be the end, but also a new beginning!
This gave me the opportunity to make a fresh start even if my studies failed. I can recommend every student to contact a Umsteigen counselor, as they always respond promptly, competently, in a friendly, supportive, motivating and timely manner to questions and problems with great commitment and dedication as well as meaningful assistance.
On the one hand, this helps to create clarity in a difficult life situation and, on the other hand, to provide concrete support on the way there - especially in the event of difficulties - to solve problems in a concrete and straightforward manner."
