WERKSTATT ATTRAKTIVE ARBEITGEBER - Info poster

Since 2015, theHannover Region'semployment promotion agency has been offeringtheATTRACTIVE EMPLOYERWORKSHOP, which is aimed exclusively at representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises. The following questions are addressed together in an atmosphere of trust: How can I find and retain employees? How can I further promote the attractiveness of my company as an employer?

The workshops are held under the motto "Learning from and with each other"and place particular emphasis on promoting a strong network through collaboration. Company-specific approaches are developed by the participants and supported by the speakers. The focus is on the practical implementation and networking of the companies. The topics at theWERKSTATTATTRAKTIVE ARBEITGEBER arediverse - fromAasin training, toGasin health management, andIasin innovation culture, through toZasin sustainability.

"I take part in the format because it addresses and deals with current topics and problems from my day-to-day work and also offers the opportunity to share experiences with other companies or "those affected". My personal motivation for taking part is, on the one hand, to keep up to date with the latest developments in many areas in terms of lifelong learning in times of major change and, on the other hand, to be able to manage my day-to-day work better and more successfully. My professional challenges in the company are attracting and retaining young employees and trainees. Supporting and advising them in terms of the realities of their lives and their economic, social and cognitive opportunities. Among other things, the employment promotion format has shown me creative methods to overcome many a challenge, and the exchange with other participating companies/trainers has helped me to reflect on and optimize my own actions."
Kristina Schwarz, Training Officer at Hanebutt GmbH
"The mix of theory and practice is excellent. The workshop offers a great platform to first highlight the many facets of employer attractiveness through keynote speeches and then to work on them together in a very tangible way. The topic of employer attractiveness has always been important to us. And it continues to gain in importance. Companies that are not properly positioned in this area will lose out when it comes to finding and retaining employees. The megatrends that are on everyone's mind are naturally also on our agenda. The top headlines are digitalization and sustainability. Successful embedding in corporate culture, leadership behavior, communication and conveying meaning is crucial. It has to be "lived", as they say. The WERKSTATT ATTRAKTIVE ARBEITGEBER network of different SMEs helps me immensely to experience a topic from different perspectives. Every company ticks differently. These external impulses are valuable for my own development and continuous optimization."
Thomas Konrad, Commercial Director of Hanno Werk GmbH & Co. KG
"I personally take part in the format because it gives me and us as a company a regular opportunity to continue working on current issues and challenges. My motivation behind this is to constantly drive our own corporate culture forward. By involving different employees in the various themed workshops, I notice a gradual change - which I find pleasant. Internally, the impression is presumably not created that changes are only desired or demanded from "up there". As our staff can develop ideas themselves, processes change almost automatically. I would like to emphasize that the sometimes lively exchange with other companies is very good for us. The recently diverse groups in the "Training" workshops in particular encourage us to think. The resulting contacts are also very positive. The challenges in our company lie in securing the company and further shaping company succession, securing skilled workers, digitalization and advocating for more appropriate working conditions in our industry. The employment promotion format helped us through the exchange with other companies and experts and taught us a structured approach."
Marcus Böhm, Managing Director of Böhm Güterverkehrs GmbH
"I have been taking part in the discussion series for around 5 years now and always look forward to exciting and topical issues. The topics are so varied that I can continue to take part in the event series even after changing employers. I particularly enjoy the open and honest exchange between regional companies. In addition to the workshop, the network meeting has become an important part of the discussion series - even outside of the event series."
Fabienne le Thiec, Project Manager Corporate Development at hanova Wohnen GmbH
Situation from the workshop

The workshops take place four times a year in the Haus der Region. In addition to input from the moderators, the participants have time for grouptasks and networkingwith each other. The topics vary and address currenttrends in the world of work andHR development, and are geared towards the needs of the participating companies. At theATTRACTIVE EMPLOYERWORKSHOP, you can gain your own impression of which solutions may also be suitable for your company and benefit from sharing experiences!
