Review of Hannover Messe 2024: A beacon of innovation and international networking

Hanover, April 30, 2024. hannoverimpuls has once again cemented its position as one of the leading international platforms for industrial innovation and technology with an impressive performance at Hannover Messe 2024. hannoverimpuls is extremely positive about the event, which took place in Hanover from April 22 to 26.

"The diverse discussions and the international exchange at our Hannover stand in Hall 16 showed how dynamic and future-oriented our region is," says Doris Petersen, summarizing the intensive days at Hannover Messe 2024.

Highlights and key successes

Once again this year, hannoverimpuls offered 12 regional companies from papair to Sightwise the opportunity to be right in the middle of the action with the Hannover Stand (more information on this year's companies and stand partners can be found at:https://lmy.de/NZdql). Numerous VIP guests such as the Lord Mayor of Hanover, Belit Onay, Dr. Volker Müller, Managing Director of the Lower Saxony Business Associations (UVN), Lisa Paus, Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs of Hamburg, Ulf-Birger Franz, Head of the Department of Economics, Transport and Education of the Hanover Region, Julia Willie Hamburg, Deputy Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, and Wiebke Osigus, Minister for Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development of Lower Saxony can be counted as visitors to the Hannover Stand this year.

Expert talks on climate neutrality and workshops on mini-business models attracted numerous visitors and generated important discussions on sustainable business practices. The session "Transformation networks in Lower Saxony" highlighted the role of robotics in future mobility and met with lively interest among trade visitors. A forum on the topic of recruiting skilled workers offered concrete solutions and experience reports on integrating international talent into German companies.

The Hannover Stand also welcomed 20 delegations and groups from more than 15 countries, including political leaders and industry experts from China, Finland, India, Vietnam and Turkey.

The stage talks on topics such as "Digital learning" and "Photovoltaics as a secure investment for the future" were particularly well received and led to in-depth discussions on the importance of the data economy and sustainable design.

Startup Meetup with impressive participation

The "Startup Meetup", organized once again in cooperation with startup.nds, NBank and Hafven, was a complete success and attracted almost 400 guests. Startups from the Hannover Region and beyond presented their innovations and made valuable business contacts. "Hannover Messe 2024 was an impressive event that offered numerous opportunities for future cooperation and development," summarizes DorisPetersen.

hannoverimpuls will continue to work hard to strengthen the Hannover Region as an attractive and innovative location and is already looking forward to Hannover Messe 2025.
