Robotics City Hannover represented at the 12th Robotics Congress

Robotics City Hannover was developed as an umbrella brand in 2022 and brings together all of Hannover Region's activities in the field of robotics. The appearance is being realized together with campaign partners such as the

• RoboHub Lower Saxony,
• the student team of Leibniz Universität Hannover LUHbots

and the companies based in the region

• Advance robotics,
• Vision laser technology and
• avateramedical.

Thetheme of this year'sRobotics Congress onFebruary 7/8, 2023is "Safety, Security and Artificial Intelligence". It will take place at the TechnologyAcademy, Exhibition Grounds/Pavilion 36, 30521 Hanover.

Because alongside the fascination of robotics, safety must not be neglected - on the contrary. Wherever robots are used, it must be ensured that they pose no danger to humans.

Safety standards are strict and certifications ensure that every application is safe - a topic that will have a major impact on the future. However, the topic of safety is also highly relevant from the outside. Because anything that is networked can be attacked. And so, with the increasing digitalization of production, the topic of security in industrial companies is also gaining in importance.

Focus on artificial intelligence

In addition to these topics, the often-discussed artificial intelligence is a focal point. It lowers the hurdles for the use of robots because they no longer have to be programmed by experts.
