Fund for socio-ecological innovation enters the next round
An established and meaningful project enters the next round. With the "Soziovation" project, the Hannover Region promotes socially innovative project ideas and start-ups. Since 2022, the Hannover Region has been focusing on and promoting project ideas that address structural changes caused by digitalization or the ecological transformation and strengthen participation in the labour market and society as part of the funding programme.
The project "Soziovation - Fund for Socio-Ecological Innovation in the Hannover Region", which was already managed by kreHtiv Netzwerk Hannover e.V. in 2022 and 2023, is now entering a new round. As of now, socially innovative start-ups and projects anchored in the non-profit social economy can once again submit their applications.
As in previous years, in which a total of 35 projects were funded, the funding pot is aimed at non-profit organizations from the social economy and social start-ups in the Hannover Region.
During the funding period, which runs until the end of 2024, the Hannover Region will provide funding of up to 10,000 euros per project for the fund. The focus is on projects that are aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. These include measures for climate protection, greater gender equality and poverty reduction.
