Review of the first spring conference new/car

20.03.2023 - The transformation networkneu/wagen hasinvited people toits first spring conferenceat Herrenhausen Palaceon March 8, 2023. The transformation of the automotive industry is occupying numerous suppliers and their employees in the project region. This was also made clear in the welcoming speeches by Ulf-Birger Franz, Head of Economic Affairs, Transport and Education in the Hanover region, and Bernd Lynack, District Administrator of the Hildesheim district.

Threekeynote speeches provided a closer look at the transformation from the perspective of the top global supplier Continental, the medium-sized supplier Meteor and the mobility specialists from TÜV NORD.

During the panel discussion, the supporters and partners involved in the neu/wagen transformation network discussedwhether and how the vehicle and supplier industry can start and implement a successfultransformation process.

What remains are many positive impressions of the first spring conference! The transformation network neu/wagenwould like to thankaround 200 participants, all the speakers and the many clear questions during the panel discussion. The transformation can only be tackled together with the suppliers. This was also demonstrated by the many discussions at the subsequent get-together and as part of the exhibition on the new/trolley workshops and working groups. In addition, the activities of our transformation network will be further strengthened, as the advisoryboard began its work in the run-up to the spring conference at its first meeting.
