Almost every second company is desperately looking for qualified employees. Social and technical professions are just as affected by the shortage of skilled workers as the construction and hospitality industries. Demographic change is further exacerbating the problem. Can skilled workers from abroad save the day? Or can companies activate hidden reserves by employing unskilled workers? And what are convincing solutions for finding and retaining skilled workers?
Sparkasse Hannover, the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Unternehmerverbände Niedersachsen e. V. and hannoverimpuls jointly invite you to the event "Skilled labor shortage: A solution in sight?" with numerous experience reports, ideas and solutions from companies for companies at Sparkasse Hannover.
We look forward to welcoming you to the headquarters of Sparkasse Hannover, Raschplatz 4, 30161 Hannover.

"The shortage of skilled workers in companies will increase in the future. It is therefore important to leverage domestic potential and at the same time make use of the opportunities offered by skilled immigration. In practice, companies are encountering various obstacles to the urgently needed immigration, which need to be addressed now. These include a simplification and acceleration of bureaucratic procedural rules, a support structure for all immigration issues and opportunities for language support. Above all, there is the issue of a welcoming culture. After all, it is a prerequisite for genuine integration and reduces numerous follow-up costs."
