Premiere at the Maschseefest: Mobile gaming truck becomes an e-sports hub on the north bank and promises gaming action as well as a meeting with the VR scene

From 2 p.m., the solar-powered gaming mobile of the HI-SCORE video game museum invites all visitors to put their driving skills to the test in Mario Kart. Players can compete against classics such as the SNES, N64 or GameCube and immerse themselves in nostalgic worlds. The race laps will be broadcast live on large screens so that all spectators can follow the action-packed races. A highlight that no one should miss!

Another special event will follow from 4.30 pm: the VR Meetup "HANNOVR meets Maschseefest". In front of the gaming mobile, next to the Courtyard Hotel on the north bank, VR enthusiasts and interested parties can exchange ideas in a unique atmosphere and experience the latest developments in virtual reality up close. As the crowning finale of the day, visitors can look forward to "DIE HÖHLE DER KARPFEN", another exciting highlight of the Maschseefest, on the Madsack stage from 6 pm.

HI-SCORE: A video game museum with a future

Hanover has been one attraction richer since 2023: the HI-SCORE video game museum, which makes gaming fans' hearts beat faster with its impressive collection of over 200 video game consoles and numerous arcade machines from different eras. Within a year, the museum attracted 53,000 visitors to its temporary premises in the aufhof inner-city project. It is now certain that HI-SCORE will remain in Hanover and continue to develop - as a combination of museum and interactive event center.
