Member companies

The Überbetriebliche Verbund Hannover Region e.V. (ÜBV e.V.) is an association of small and medium-sized companies with the aim of future-oriented personnel planning with regard to the compatibility of family and career.

Competition is a thing of the past: around 1,500 companies in Lower Saxony are working together for more family friendliness and equality. They are partners of the state's 25 Women and Business Coordination Offices, which are committed to increasing women's participation in the workforce and improving the compatibility of family and career.

For more family friendliness for more than 20 years

In the Hannover Region, the Überbetriebliche Verbund Hannover Region e.V. (ÜBV) has been committed to family friendliness and a life-phase-oriented personnel policy for over 20 years. Initiatives have been launched to provide reliable vacation care for school-age children, such as the summer camp (July 22 - August 9, 2019), to relieve the burden on family caregivers (ÜBV entrepreneur breakfast: April 24, 2019) and to recruit female specialists and managers.

"Motivated employees meet attractive employers - this not only strengthens the local economy, but also enables many people to achieve a better work-life balance. This is a real win-win situation. Social progress and equality belong together," emphasized Social Affairs Minister Dr. Carola Reimann at a meeting with the chairpersons of the associations and the heads of the co-posts in Hanover on 11 March.
