Quarterly "Welcome Back" network meetings

For us, personal networking is the key to professional self-realization. For this reason, we offer a quarterly evening network meeting for former seminar participants and women from the counseling sector. The welcome-back events offer a framework for personal exchange and are enriched by keynote speeches on changing topics from the spectrum of women and career.

You can find more information under the menu item " Welcome Back "

"At a time when society expects women to work as if they didn't have children and to look after their children as if they weren't working, the Ko-Stelle tackles where women* are stuck. On the one hand, it offers an appreciative and encouraging environment and, on the other, concrete tools to further their education and find support. Click here for full feedback "

"As a mother of three children, I would now like to get back into work. A friend gave me the tip to contact the Women and Career Coordination Office in the Hanover region. During a personal consultation, I was welcomed in a friendly manner and I had the feeling that I was being listened to and taken seriously. I was given valuable tips on how to proceed as well as recommendations on the extensive range of courses offered by the Hannover Region on career prospects for women. There is something for every situation and every age when it comes to re-entry or professional reorientation. A good start to new perspectives."

"My goal is to work as a freelance coach - on a part-time basis. The idea was to start as a successor to an existing coaching company.
In a personal and detailed Zoom meeting, we weighed up various options and found a viable solution for me. I was also put in touch with a really great tax consultant who was able to answer any further questions I had about the specific procedure. Packed with important information and impulses, I have now set off - at my own pace :-)
Thank you very much for that!"

"I asked you for advice on the subject of salary/salary increase. I wanted to know whether my salary at the time was appropriate or whether I could ask my employer for a pay rise with good reason. It was great that I got an appointment for a free consultation very quickly and easily. The consultation helped me a lot. My questions were answered precisely and well-founded, so that I was able to address the issue confidently at my workplace. Thank you very much for that!"

"I contacted the Women and Work Coordination Office because I wanted to find out about my career prospects as someone who immigrated to Hanover from the USA and as a mother who wants to return to work after almost 3 years.
I was forwarded jobs that I was very interested in and applied for. I was also recommended 3 internationally networked companies, to which I uploaded an unsolicited application.
Finally, I was also given advice about the upcoming interview and recommended sources where I can do further research in greater detail. I am very happy to have contacted Frau und Beruf! "
"I contacted you with questions about returning to work after parental leave while simultaneously reorienting myself (from academia to practice) and did not have a specific goal at the time. As a coordination office, you literally helped me with coordination and referred me to the Federal Employment Agency and the "New Perspectives for Highly Qualified People" program. Apart from the somewhat off-putting title for me, participating in the program helped me take an important step forward. Thank you for that!"
