Against this backdrop, the Hannover Region's Economic and Employment Promotion Agency presented innovative approaches and solutions as part of the "ATTRACTIVE EMPLOYER WORKSHOP" to help companies actively shape the challenges of tomorrow.
At the center of the workshop isthe"GreenComp. The European sustainability competence framework", a groundbreaking competence framework published by the European Commission in 2022. This framework aims to define and promote essential competencies that are necessary to effectively develop and implement sustainable and environmentally friendly measures. The development of these skills is crucial not only for a company to operate in a climate-neutral and future-proof manner, but also to stand out as an attractive employer.
The workshop handout presents a summary of the topics covered. This includes a detailed overview of GreenComp and practical methods for strengthening these skills in employees.
