VRECH - Virtual Reality Education Center
Immersion in virtual worlds is no longer just a topic for the games industry! Immersive technologies such as 360-degree videos, augmented or virtual reality (XR technologies for short) open up new possibilities for learning. Whether exploring distant lands, visualizing areas that are difficult to access in real life or appealing to different sensory organs - this is already possible with the help of new technologies. This opens up numerous new options, particularly in schools and in the field of education.

Equipping and providing a virtual reality experimentation room at the MultiMedia vocational schools in the Hannover region, with opportunities to try out and learn as well as the inspection, provision and continuous testing of existing hardware and software from the XR sector.
Inventory of content and development of further training for teachers and trainers to raise awareness of the technology and enable the target group to integrate XR independently into lessons and training.
Development and provision of handouts and XR catalogs for schools as well as publicizing and networking VRECH with other XR initiatives in Lower Saxony and Germany.
The VRECH - Virtual Reality Education Center is a cooperation project of the Hannover Region (Department of Economic and Employment Promotion and Department of Schools), the MultiMedia vocational schools of the Hannover Region and the
